The UnIQue Principle and LIFE Model by Dr Charles
 
   Whether you want to lose weight or you are training for a marathon, everyone is unique.  As a result, you need a CUSTOM program to achieve your specific health, fitness, weight loss or athletic performance goals.  Unfortunately, all of the programs currently available are cookie cutter and don't address your individual wants and needs.  Additionally, there is a tremendous amount of confusion surrounding the length, intensity and frequency of each individuals cardio needs....that is until now.
 
 
Based on 10 years of experience and research, 20 years of education, practical application and certification in addition to over 1000 clients and 10,000 pounds lost, I developed the UnIQue Principle and LIFE Model.  The UnIQue Principle and LIFE Model were developed utilizing the New Leaf Metabolic Systems to study the following factors:
 
·    The amount of calories your body needs to function, including everything from regulating hormones to thinking the thoughts that run through your mind   
·    The amount of calories you need to consume each day to achieve your fitness goal, whether that's weight loss or greater athletic performance
·    The point, known as your aerobic base heart rate, is the highest intensity at which your body still uses fat as it's dominant fuel   
·    The highest sustainable intensity of exercise, known as your FAT THRESHOLD (FT), that your body can sustain and still burn fat
efficiently 
·    The rate at which your body absorbs oxygen, which your body requires to burn fat.
  
 
 
All that information comes from measuring your heart rate and from evaluating the mix of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your breath. Those measurements are taken at various levels of activity, from a point of complete rest to a point just shy of your highest normal physical activity level.  With an accurate measure of both oxygen and carbon dioxide, you get a clear picture of your body's complete fuel composition. This information is vital to pinpoint the precise heart rate you need to work up to, and how long you should exercise at that intensity. You know you're burning fat, not just time. No guesswork required.

Again, we are all unique and each of us has a metabolic fingerprint based primarily on the FAT Threshold (FT) that is unique to you.  The FT is the KEY to achieving all of your goals and it holds all the info needed to create a highly successful, personalized exercise program. Using your FT, I developed the UnIQue Principle, unique because it is customized individuals and IQ which stands for the Intensity Quotient.  The Intensity Quotient is the calculation I developed to maximize FAT and total calories burned, optimize health improvement and guarantee an increase in fitness and performance. Armed with your FT and using the UnIQue Principle, we can use my patented Life Training Model to customize a program and guarantee results. 
 
 
The LIFE Model stands for Length, Intensity, Frequency and Exercise/Enjoyment.  So how long you need to exercise, how intensely you need to exercise, how often you need to exercise and the way you need to exercise.  Based on the LIFE Model, we are able to maximize weight loss, improve fitness and health, increase your metabolism and energy levels, eliminate pain and ensure you enjoy working out. So what's the point of logging all that time in your gym shoes if you don't know why you're lacing them up in the first place?
